Teddy Bear Luncheon

You know we didn't come home from the beach just to sit around today :-)  There's never a dull moment in the Bloodworth household and this morning was no different.  We went last year to a local fundraiser called the Teddy Bear Luncheon.  You get mediocre food and a drama performance by a local high school; nothing much to it, but for some reason, it is slowly becoming a tradition with me, my mom, and the children.  So, this year, we went right back for some more entertainment!

Bonner enjoyed her bag of Chips, a slice of pineapple, and a strawberry ...
Ian was just in a daze at the beginning ...
Chased the potato chips with a little cupcake ...
Cupcake?  Was there a cupcake in that little paper?  Can I please have another?

In the middle of the show, the play's characters come out into the audience and dance with the children - Bonner thoroughly enjoyed dancing with "a princess" :-)

As you can see, the cast is rather extensive - it includes Rudolph, Francis, the teddy bear, Thing 1 & Thing 2 (my favorite), lots of toys, and even Santa, himself!

This year was more fun for us because our friend Mary Elizabeth and her mommy and her Gigi came to enjoy the show with us!  Hopefully, they will make it an annual tradition, too!
