Well, here goes!
We were so lucky to have our aunt Joyce come down from Charlotte for the party ... and look what she brought the kiddos - precious raincoat and rain boots! Ian's was a frog and Bonner's, Hello Kitty! They woke up from their nap today and went right for the boots :-)
And, once Bonner got on the rain boots, she had to dress up - here she is in her Snow White skirt and top with her Cinderella top on top :-) and on her head, she has her Snow White crown, the new crown Aunt Kay-Kay gave her, and then the crazy hat Aunt Tay-Tay gave her for Christmas!!! So funny! The picture doesn't do it much justice!
Here were their cakes:
We sang to Bonner first; but I thought it was so cute to see Ian watching in on her - he was so excited for her :-)
And, then it was Ian's turn!
And, then this was the "taste test"! And, no I am not making this up! Ha!
Bonner's :-)
Ian's :-)
He came up for a breath...
And, then went back for a 2nd bite!
"Look, mommy, no hands!"
She wasn't too sure about it! So funny the difference between boys and girls!
Oh, it was so worth the price of admission! Ha!
This was the aftermath!
And, of course, after dessert, there's always room for dinner :-)
Notice how clean she is ... I mean "clean" is relative to this :-)
As I mentioned at the party, we are truly blessed with another year with both Ian & Bonner! We are so thankful that each of you is on this journey with us. Our next cardiology appointment is October 7; I'm nervous about it, but just trust that God continues to have His watchful hand over him and that his heart is functioning as great as it appears :-) Love to everyone! Have a great week!

Oh no, I can't believe we missed the cake diving. Looks like they both had a great time.
