One More Party & Home

Well, Saturday night, we were treated to a yummy dinner out in Perry by Stewart's aunt and uncle, Aunt Bobbe & Uncle Billie.  It was a real treat since we don't seem to spend too much time with them!  And, guess what, Aunt Bobbe, who thinks of everything, called ahead and the restaurant had a cake for Ian and Bonner :-)  So, another "Happy Bonner's Day" we sang - ha!
They each had a # 2 candle and they each blew theirs out on the first puff!

They were intense with the cake - Bonner has decided that she just likes the icing - which is just fine with Ian since he loves it all :-)

Back at Nanny's house, Stewart got out this dump truck of his from many moons ago - they thought they could both fit on it and "wide"!

Where's Bonner? Hiding in the closet, of course!

We really did have a great trip to Perry!  The kids enjoyed each and every celebration and certainly appreciated all the presents!  When we got home, they finally noticed that I had put a new toy chest in their room - I was curious how long it would take them to "get in it" and I must say that they are sslllloooww.  I mean, I put this thing in there about a month ago ... well, better late than never.  Bonner climbed right in and Ian came to get Daddy to show him.  Eventually, he figured it out, too :-)

Where's Bonner?  (are you seeing a trend here)
Surprise, Mommy!
2 peas in a pod :-)

And when dinner came, Bonner went right for her birthday crown - the real one that Aunt Kay gave her.  I guess it makes the macaroni and cheese taste better :-)

And, this little guy has just become a real ham.  He saw me taking a picture of Bonner and insisted I snap his pic, too - "Cheese, Mommy!"

No school this week so Miss Amber is keeping them busy.  The final birthday party is this Saturday.  They are so excited to still be celebrating.  But, I am really proud of them because they have 2 presents still sitting on the counter - they say "Hello, Presents" when we come in and "Bye-bye, Presents" when we leave :-)  So cute!  I have no idea why I haven't given them to them just yet ... and since they don't bother me about it, I forget!

If anyone out there has any good tips on potty-training, please email me at bloodwos@charter.net.  I have no desire to start this process as I enjoy being able to go out without having to visit public restrooms - yuk! - but I think that the kiddos are ready since tell me "wet" or "poopy" or "change" ... and "potty"
