First Official Field Trip

This morning, the children's class went on a field to a local horse farm.  We had a lot of fun ...

...feeding the hens, the chickens, and the rooster!
 ...petting the rooster - Cocka-doodle-doo!
 ...petting the baby lamb, Larry!
 ...petting the baby goat, Snow!
...listening to Mrs. Debbie talk about horse safety!
...brushing the horses!  (That's Bonner in the purple shirt - she was very focused!
...and riding the horse!  Bonner LOVED it!

When I asked Ian why he didn't want to the ride the horse, he said, "The horse will make me 'achoo', mommy, so I just can't."  When his teacher asked him later on why he didn't want to ride the horse, he said, "The horse was going too slow!"

After the field trip, the children and I headed to the park to burn off some more energy!
 "Cheese!"

The other night, I had the stool out so the kids could scrub their hands after being outside.  Bonner said, "Mommy, will you take our picture on the stool?"  One of the few pictures I have taken recently where both kiddos are looking at me!  I just love it!

And here are a few more pictures from our beach trip!  I found them when I plugged my other camera in and just couldn't resist getting them captured here in the blog!
I can only imagine what they are talking about in the picture above or below but I just love them both!

And this is a tired little girl after a long day on the beach :-)

We have a busy weekend planned and I hope to get a couple of videos from this week posted soon!  Have a terrific day!
