Mommy continues to do better each day. We have to be very gentle when we are around her, but we are glad that she can change our diapers again and get us dressed. We were reading the blog today and noticed that mommy had forgotten to show you pictures of our very first trip to "Build a Bear". The week before Valentine's Day, Build a Bear was donating a proceeds of their sales to Congenital Heart Defect research and since that is such an important aspect of our lives, mommy decided to take us there for the very first time.
It was so neat! I thought they might have Woody or Buzz and Bonner was hoping for a pretty Princess, but it was just bears and we couldn't have been happier! (Mommy helped us load our pictures for you to see)!
I picked my teddy bear out and went first. You stood on this thing on the floor and it made the teddy bear fill-up.
Then I picked a heart out of the bucket to put inside my teddy. But, first I gave it a big kiss!
"Here you go, Teddy!"
"Here, mommy, I want the pink bear!"
"I can stand on this thingy, too!"
"Let's see, which heart do I want?"
"Mmm, smack! I love you, Cinderella bear!"
Both bears had to get a bath after they were made.
"Hey, little bear!"
"Hurry, Ian, this box is getting heavy!"
We had a great time building our bears. I named mine "Teddy" and Bonner named hers "Cinderella"!
We have been extra good while mommy has been hurt. Each night when we say our prayers, we ask Jesus to help mommy to feel better. He must be listening because she is playing with us alot now and she is driving again.
Last weekend while mommy was not feeling very good, daddy took us out to eat with friends on Friday night; to church all by himself on Sunday; and down to our neighbor's house for dinner on Sunday night. On Saturday, one of our babysitters, Ms. Brantley, and her husband, Mr. Austin, took us to the museum for kids and then to the restaurant next to the airport. We had so much fun!
We'll talk to you soon and hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Love,
Ian & Bonner
