I hate that the day is upon us to head back to reality, but I am so glad we were here this morning to participate in the Little Hearts Walk! It was really special! I held back a few tears as I reflected on where we've been, how far we've come, and how many other children/families know the struggles! But, we are so BLESSED and I will never forget that! While uncertain at times, we had FAITH and knew that God would provide! Our condition, Tetralogy of Fallot, even without a pulmonary valve is a heart defect that allows for a terrific quality of life! We are so thankful for that! All the children this morning are a blessing and it was clear that our God above has blessed lots of us with true miracles!
So, without further ado, here are some pictures from this morning's Little Hearts Walk!
Here's our group - all in our Bloodworth Bunch shirts! We were so happy to be joined by our great friends, the Wylies and the Gibbs :-) It meant so much to us!
Here's Ian crossing the FINISH LINE with his daddy! The cheerleaders were cheering him on :)
After the race, Bonner, Ian, and Mary Elizabeth enjoyed playing with the bubbles!
He finally ran the girls off so he could have the bubbles all to himself :)
They had chalk, too! You can see that he enjoyed drawing on himself, too!
My PRECIOUS SURVIVOR - you are the apple of my eye!
And, you, sweetheart, run a VERY CLOSE 2ND!
We are heading home tomorrow - hopefully, after the Dawgs pull out a victory tonight! We'll see! Love to all and, as always, thanks for walking this journey with us!
