Random Update - great video, though!

Well, let's go back to last week when we had the Vince Dooley event.  We ended up having about 325 adults and 125 children in attendance!  It was a great evening weather-wise and all the feedback has been very positive so far.  I think that Coach Dooley realized that we know how to throw a party - I doubt it his hand will recover for many weeks to come :-)  He is definitely a legend.  He did sign until the last person finished (which was me)!  He did speak for a few minutes so everyone got to hear a few stories.

In addition, that night, we unveiled the new South Carolina DMV-issued license tag honoring our alma mater, UGA.  I have worked so hard on that project in the past several months and am glad to see it coming to fruition!  And the applause with the announcement was a roar - made me feel good - and I know that everyone will be excited to show off the Super G as soon as they can.

I hope that you had a terrific Labor Day weekend.  Stewart's sister, Kay, her husband, Mike, their 2 daughters, Jenni & Ellen, and Stewart's mom, Nanny, came for a visit.  The kids had a blast and are still recovering from all the excitement.  We enjoyed doing nothing but football on Saturday!  As you can see from my post below, the kid's were excited to sport their Super G's this past Saturday!  (Can you see the Super G theme)!

We had some friends over for dinner last night and they ran the kids ragged, too!  The older kids did a great job of watching out for Ian and Bonner who wanted to be right in the mix of the action!

And, today, it was back to the old grind stone... wasn't too bad but I went on email hiatus from my Homeowner's Association and the Junior League of Greenville over the weekend and I had alot to catch up on this afternoon.  I guess it's better just to stay on top of it all the time!


This afternoon, our helper Amber asked me if I had heard Bonner sing her ABC's all the way through.  I was quite shocked since I had only heard A-B-C-D-E-F or L-M-N-O-P in passing ... but tonight, she did it!  As you can see, she's doing a pretty good job.  I am sure she has just memorized the song, but I couldn't help but post her doing it!  It's a big video and this is my first time loading a video through Blogger and not Flickr so we'll see how it goes :-)

 

We are off to Columbia this weekend to try and cheer on those Dawgs to big victory over the Gamecocks.  It's such a big game for us personally since we have to share "air-time" with USC fans.  It always feels good to remind them that they play in the SEC!  However, the spread is only 2.5 points right now so Vegas isn't giving either team a real chance!  Ha!  Ggggoooo Dawgs!
