Birthday Fun!

Well, their birthday was Thursday and we have had about 3 days of nothing but fun!  I had these little shirts made with the #2 on them ... it was last minute, but I really like them :-)

Bonner showing with her fingers how old she is :-)

Ian, of course, wanted a "birthday bow" in his hair, too!  He was kind enough to take it out in the car before we got to school!

I took cupcakes to their school at lunch for them to share with their friends.  They LOVED all the attention (see the video below of their teachers singing Happy Birthday just to see how much Bonner enjoyed it) and everyone said the cupcakes were yummy, so I guess I'm batting 1000 on that :-)
 At school
Their teachers gave them these cute little crowns!  Ian was all over wearing his!
Yummy!

Thursday night, we met Gigi, Grandbuddy, Uncle Justin, and Aunt Tay-Tay at Brixx for dinner.  Both Bonner & Ian were great; they soaked up all the attention :-)
Ian insisted on wearing his crown out to dinner!
The sun was a little bright out the window; but this is them opening their gift from Justin & Taylor!  It was play food and they "ate it up"!
This is Bonner using her new plastic banana to scoop up her ice cream :-)

And they got musical Minnie & Mickey cards that they just LOVE!

Needless to say, they slept good Thursday night.  Amber & I took them to gymnastics on Friday morning and then, after lunch, we got in the car to head south to Perry for some more birthday fun!  We went swimming last night after a delicious home-cooked meal and again this morning before their birthday party.  The kids had a blast opening up more presents today!
At Nanny's house enjoying yummy chicken and getting ready for a yummy ice cream cake!
Aunt Kay-Kay (not to be confused with Aunt Tay-Tay) gave Bonner a pretty princess crown and she loved it.  Stewart brought this mirror in the den and she enjoyed looking at herself :-)  Fortunately, it didn't last too long as their were presents to tend to!

Ian loved his toys, but the picnic basket Bonner got had cute little cups and utensils in it - you know how much he loves to eat and drink so he went right for them!

Well, we are heading out to eat tonight with our very special Aunt Bobbe & Uncle Billie so I am sure the celebrating will continue!  Have a great weekend!
