And then last week, school was back in for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, so Amber got the house somewhat back in order :-) I've been working alot at the office as we are working to hire some more sales reps all over the place! It's been great knowing that I can work a full day without having to run pick the kids up from school just to get them home for them to take a good, long nap!
This weekend was pretty low-key, but we had some enjoyable moments! Friday morning started out with a haircut :-) Both children did great - it took them a minute to warm up, but they were good the whole time!
Handsome little boy :-)
"Cheese!"
It took her a minute, but she survived the scissors ...
AND the clippers! The stylist (is that what you call someone who cuts children's hair - anyway, I digress) prepared both of them before the clippers with "buzz, buzz, tickle, tickle" - that did the trick! Not a wince or a shreak!
Of course, getting a haircut can be very tiring :-) They had to "relax" later that day on their chairs!

Not sure if you can tell, but they finally have the "Cheese" thing down pat :-) They actually look at the camera and say it! So funny!
Saturday evening, there was a great outing of the Mother's of Multiples Club to a local waterpark! We weren't too sure about going, but I'm really glad we did! They had a huge area with lots of fountains - water coming up from the ground, down from pails, and showering of water everywhere! Ian and Bonner both had a terrific time!!
And, today, after naptime, our friend Mary Elizabeth (turned 2 in May) came over for a playdate! The kids played very well together - I can't believe I didn't snap any photos - especially of the hugs that came at the end! Too cute! Well, I'll definitely do it next time!
They have school again this week so that'll be good for them! We are gearing up for a July 4th weekend - not sure what it will entail, but I'm sure it will be adventurous! My wonderful grandmother (Steve's mom), Nanny, is coming up (with my aunt, uncle, and 2 nieces) the end of the week to spend the 4th at the lake. I am looking forward to seeing her again - she is such an incredible woman who has given me such strength over the past 2.5 years!
I'm sure we'll have some posts this week - if I can stay on top of it :-) If not, have a great 4th of the July - celebrate this country's independence - and pray that it remains that way!
