Happy New Year!

I know it's been a few days since I updated, but there really hasn't been too much going on since we got through the "hustle and bustle" of Christmas!  Stewart and I worked some the week after Christmas, before New Year's ... but mostly we just enjoyed being home with the children and watching football!  We spent New Year's at home with some really good friends and stayed up too late talking and catching up with them ... it was great and the children slept until 11:15 a.m. on New Year's Day which was so nice!

We went to our friend's house to watch UGA play in the Bowl Game ... great win for the Dawgs as they capped off a mediocre season.  Here's looking to the 2010 season!  As you can see, Ian and Bonner were decked out in their Bulldog outfits, however, they were definitely more interested in the toys than in actually watching the game!

They went back to school this past Monday and I must say that I was thrilled to have a little alone time :-)  With them home over the 2 week break, I really started to wonder, "What in the world are we going to do all summer?"  I need to start finding some alternatives so if you have any ideas, please let me know!

I have tried to express on several occasions through this blog my children's desire to wear hats ... they will turn anything into a "HAT!"  Here are some pictures for you to enjoy of them doing just that! The first couple are them wearing actual hats ...

Sorry about the pictures being so blurry; not sure what happened there!

Well, I hope you enjoy the new look of the blog - it's a little bit about Valentine's Day and a little bit about the Heart Ball that's coming up on March 20, 2010.  We hope that anyone in town and those that would like to come for a visit will come that weekend to support the American Heart Association!  More details to come, of course, but go ahead and put it on your calendars!!!

Make sure you check out the video below ... it's pretty funny!
