Christmas Party

I see that the kids got a hold of my computer last night ... shame on them ... but aren't they so cute?  They did have their Christmas Party at Mother's Morning Out this morning - they had some sweet treats and all of the mothers got to meet each other.  It was very sweet of their teachers to put it together and I was proud of how well they did while I was in the room.  All the other children insisted on being held, but mine just played with their toys - of course, they wanted to show them to me, but they were very independent of me, which I enjoyed watching!

When I first whipped out the camera, they were both very shy!  Well, I think Bonner was shy and Ian was just devouring!

I think that from this position, they actually favor quite a bit :-)
I can't believe she was actually shoving food in like she was!

Of course, Ian was just eating and eating.  He had 3 donut holes - that he ate in 3 bites.  Yes, he shoved the entire donut hole in his mouth at one time!

One of the little boys in the class brought each child an inflatable candy cane - they were great!  Bonner watched the teachers blow them up so she wanted to figure that whole thing out!

It didn't take long, though, for Ian to end up with both candy canes.  Score: Ian-2, Bonner-0

These are their sweet teachers, Ms. Jennifer (with Ian) and Ms. Martha (with Bonner)

As they walked into the house after school, Ian spotted the Swiffer that I had moved out to the garage and that was that.  He held onto that thing all afternoon and all evening - well, that was until I let his sister have her turn - he pitched a big fit when he had to share!

Here's his fit - hardwood floors and all!

But his sister was cleaning up behind him!

And they got a special treat tonight from their Aunt Joyce!  A beautiful, plush, soft Pooh bear all dressed up for Christmas and his Mickey "Santa" Mouse side-kick!  I just thought this picture of Bonner giving Pooh a big hug was so cute!

Well, I think that's it for tonight.  I have a busy week at work planned and lots of things still to do for Christmas!  Hope your days are merry and bright this week!
